Γενικές πληροφορίες
Το University of Dundee έχει διεθνή φήμη και προσελκύει κορυφαίους φοιτητές από όλο τον κόσμο. Σύμφωνα με το International Student Barometer 2017, το Dundee έχει καταταχθεί 1ο στη Σκωτία, 3ο στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και 14ο παγκοσμίως όσον αφορά το βαθμό ικανοποίησης των φοιτητών. Το campus βρίσκεται στη μέση ενός πολιστικού κόμβου, το δυτικό άκρο δηλαδή της πόλης του Dundee. Έχει γκαλερι, θέατρα, εστιατόρια και μπαρ αλλά η πολή προσφέρει και μοναδικό τοπίο με πολλές δραστηριότητες και το κεντρικό σiδηροδρομικό σταθμό να απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το campus.
Τo campus μεταξύ άλλων έχει γυμναστήριο και αθλητικές εγκαταστάσεις, οπώς πισίνα γήπεδα τέννις, και 33 στρέματα γήπεδα. Η πολύ καλή βιβλιοθήκη του λειτουργεί κατά τη διάρκεια των εξετάσεων 24 ώρες το 24ώρο ενώ υπάρχει και 24ώρη φύλαξη στο campus.
Διαμονή
Yπάρχουν 1.600 δωμάτια σε 4 τοποθεσίες που περιλαμβάνουν πλήρως επιπλωμένα διαμερισμάτα με μονόκλινα δωμάτια υπνοδωμάτια με υψηλών προδιαγραφών δικό τους μπάνι. Επιπλέον, τα διαμερίσματα έχουν πλήρως εξοπλισμένη κουζίνα και πλυντήριο. Υπάρχει διαθέσιμο σε όλο το campus γρήγορο ίντερνετ, ενώ λογαριασμοί όπως αυτός του ηλεκτρισμού συμπεριλαμβάνονται στο συνολικό κόστος.

Κόστος
Το κόστος για το προπαρασκευαστικό έτος μέσα στο Πανεπιστήμιο, δηλαδη το International Stage One είναι: £14,500.00 – £16,500.00 αναλόγως του course.
Όσον αφορά το κόστος των διδάκτρων, το Dundee University για όλα τα undergraduate courses έχει ένα περιορισμένο αριθμό θέσεων δωρεάν προς Έλληνες πολίτες. Οι αιτήσεις θα πρέπει να γίνουν εγκαίρως και το Laser Travel θα χαρεί πολύ να σας δώσει την σωστή πληροφόρηση αλλά και την άρτια εξυπηρέτηση του για την εισαγωγή στο Πανεπιστήμιο χωρίς δίδακτρα.
Προϋποθέσεις εισαγωγής
Για όσους επιθυμούν απευθείας εισαγωγή στο University of Dundee, θα πρέπει να διαθέτουν ορισμένα τυπικά προσόντα:
- Βαθμό Απολυτηρίου 17,5+
- ΙΕLTS 6.5 + ή Certificate of Proficiency, είτε από το πανεπιστήμιο του Cambridge είτε το πανεπιστήμιο του Michigan.
Για όσους δεν διαθέτουν τα τυπικά προσόντα, θα πρέπει να παρακολουθήσουν το International Stage one.
Ανάλογα με το βαθμό που έλαβαν στο IELTS, ενδεχομένως να χρειαστεί να παρακολουθήσουν μαθήματα Αγγλικής γλώσσας ταυτόχρονα με το International Stage One. Η διάρκεια των μαθημάτων μπορεί να είναι 6 ή 12 εβδομάδες αναλογά με τις ανάγκες του φοιτητή.
Σπουδές
International Stage One: έχει σχεδιαστεί ώστε να αποκτήσουν οι φοιτητές επιπλεόν δεξιότητες στο αντικείμενο σπουδών αλλά και στην εκμάθηση της αγγλικής γλώσσας. Το πρόγραμμα αυτό απευθύνεται σε international φοιτητές οι οποιοί δεν έχουν τα τυπικα προσόντα ώστε να γίνουν δεκτοί απευθείας στο 2ο έτος σπουδών (undergraduate degree)
Έχει 3 βασικά μαθήματα και ανάλογα με το αντικείμενο σπουδών που επιθυμεί κάθε φοιτητής, 7 επιπλεόν μαθήματα.
